Independent trustee appointed to oversee SRHS’s pension plan
Yesterday was a major milestone for SRHS retirees and their families. Former Circuit Court Judge Steve Simpson was appointed the independent trustee to oversee SRHS’s pension plan. Our firm requested the appointment of an independent trustee because it was apparent the interest of pension holders and members were not being fairly represented. This, we believe, ultimately resulted in the failed pension plan.
At the end of the day, Attorney Jim Reeves, Attorney Matthew Mestayer, and our entire firm, are proud of our work on this case. We are expecting a solution to this case in the near future and are confident pension holders interests will be protected going forward.
